George Buckbee is a recognized pioneer in Control Loop Performance Monitoring software, with more than four decades of experience at the intersection of process control and industrial software. He is a trusted advisor to software companies seeking deep domain expertise in product definition, go-to-market strategy, and technical marketing.
George began his career at Procter & Gamble and Aventis (Sanofi), where he focused on control system optimization across manufacturing operations. He then joined ExperTune, where he played a central role in the company's growth and technical leadership before its acquisition by Metso/Neles. He subsequently held management and leadership roles across the industry before founding Sage Feedback LLC in 2021.

In 2011, George was elected a Fellow of the International Society of Automation — one of the field's highest honors. He remains active on the ISA Publications Committee and has authored four books on process control.
George has consulted with clients in Europe, South America, and the USA, bringing the same combination of technical rigor and practical business thinking to each engagement.
